Description
Looking for a fun activity for equivalent expressions with a 🍀St. Patrick’s Day theme? Students can work in teams, compete against classmates, or work independently to sort the Google Slides into the correct order. The third slide is labeled “Start”. It will have an expression that deals with Distributive Property, Combining Like Terms, or Order of Operations. Students must match the expression at the bottom of that slide, with an equivalent expression at the top of another slide. They will click and hold on the correct thumbnail on the left side, and then move it into place under it’s equivalent. When completed correctly, all thumbnail slides will be in the correct order, ending with the slide stating “The End”.
Challenge them to see how quickly they can put the slides in order.
Includes Printable Cards for a hands-on version of the game.
*Watch the Video Instructions to see how to move the slides.
