This no-prep digital lesson teaches students the inverse of squaring a number, how to find square roots and cube roots, and introduces vocabulary to the students. Students will determine square roots and cube roots and use a calculator to find roots that are not perfect squares. Drag and drop vocabulary moves terms into the correct place in sentence frames. (Slides 11 – 15 teach with negatives and can be deleted if students have not worked with integers.)
