Marengo Learning Co.

Kristen is an educator, curriculum designer, and founder of Marengo Learning Co., where she creates real-world, discussion-based resources for homeschool families and co-ops. She teaches over 100 K–12 students each week across subjects including government, economics, math, biology, life skills, and character development.

With a background in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland and experience in law, mediation, and advocacy, Kristen brings a unique perspective to education—blending critical thinking, practical life application, and meaningful conversation. As a homeschool mom of five, she understands the need for flexible, low-prep resources that actually work in real homes and mixed-age environments. Her lessons are designed to move beyond worksheets and into real-life understanding, helping students grow in both knowledge and character. Kristen is especially passionate about equipping students with life skills, leadership, and a strong moral foundation, integrating faith and real-world application in a way that prepares them for adulthood—not just academics. Through Marengo Learning Co., she is building curriculum that supports families, strengthens relationships, and creates space for learning that lasts.
