Hey there! I’m Rachel, a high school Biology and Human Anatomy & Physiology teacher with 18 years of experience, and the creator behind Rae Rocks Teaching.
I help teachers make science fun for students and less time-consuming for teachers — because you deserve to have a life outside your lesson plans. My resources are all about getting students moving, talking, and thinking through engaging stations, labs, and hands-on activities that make even the toughest topics click. I’m not about standing up front and parroting information, and I know you aren’t either.
I actually started creating resources because I couldn’t find what I wanted for my own classroom…so I made them myself. My husband convinced me to share them online, and here we are years later helping teachers everywhere bring science to life.
When I’m not knee-deep in lesson plans or creating something new, you’ll find me working out, hanging with my husband, two kids, and our dog, or soaking up the sun at the lake, beach, or pool (we’re also a camping family — basically, if it’s outdoors, I’m in).
