Sweet Sugar

Hi, I'm Tanya Antuna and a former ELL teacher K-8. I'm married and my husband speaks fluent Spanish. I have two teenagers at home and two beagles. I used my dog , Sugar, as the main character in my sight word books and activities. The vocabulary cards and the books have the Spanish translation under each word. In parentheses, I wrote the Spanish pronunciation of English words for the parents . I also included phonetic spelling so the teachers ,who may need to say the words in Spanish, could do so. I included vocabulary cards and books without the extra pronunciation. The students can match the pictures to the cards and take a copy home to practice. You will love the Books which come in three different forms: Spanish/English with phonetic spelling for parents, English/Spanish with phonetic spelling for teachers , and in English only.
