One of the favorite activities in my classroom! Students will be engaged and excited in this Geometric Transformations Competition. Students will work together in teams to finish 15 different Task cards. Questions become increasingly more difficult as they move through the deck. Students are given blank graphs to color or shade in the transformations for each task. The cards review reflection, rotation, dilation, and translation. Runners from each group will bring their answers to you. If incorrect, they will run back to the group to try again. If the answer is correct, they are given the next card in the sequence. Extra cards are provided for teachers to add their own questions.
Great activity for a teacher observation.
