Looking for a no-prep, self-checking math lesson on area of composite figures? This slide deck gives examples and then has students practice finding the area of composite figures on their own. They can work with a partner or solve individually. This area of composite figures lesson ends with students solving a riddle by matching their answers to a letter from the puzzle. If they have completed the area problems correctly they will solve the geometry riddle.
Includes a printable foldable for the student notebooks, and a printable worksheet for additional practice.
