Description
🔴🟡This is the fourth lesson on Integer Chips: See also: Adding Integers with Integer Chips, Subtracting Integers with Integer Chips, and Multiplying Integers with Integer Chips. All are digital with moveable chips, and can be purchased together in my Integer Chip Bundle. This lesson gives students a real world example of dividing integers. Students will find the average golf score over the course of a tournament. They will use integer chips to add the scores and take out zero pairs, and then divide by the total number of scores, to find the average. They will then move on to the rules for dividing integers and practice solving 12 division problems.
Product includes foldable for the interactive notebook, and printable worksheet.
Teacher Key included.

“My students love when they get to use manipulatives so this was a good activity for them. (Those in person actually used integer chips while those at home used the presentation.)”
