An evidence-based science mystery for grades 6–8
Students become investigators as they analyze multiple forms of scientific evidence to determine which natural hazard caused the destruction of Harbor Ridge.
Using seismic data, satellite reports, eyewitness accounts, plate boundary maps, and emergency summaries, students must eliminate suspects and defend their final conclusion using scientific reasoning.
This activity builds real analytical thinking, not guessing.
