Hi, I’m Leona Gonzalez, the creator of Chalk & Chaos. I’m a special education teacher with more than 20 years of experience and a passion for helping educators work smarter—not harder. Throughout my career, I’ve learned that every successful classroom is built on organization, creativity, flexibility, and a whole lot of heart. I’ve spent years creating systems, templates, and resources that simplify teaching, streamline IEP documentation, and support both students and educators. Chalk & Chaos was born from my own classroom experiences—the busy mornings, overflowing to-do lists, unexpected challenges, and unforgettable victories that every teacher knows so well. My goal is to create practical, classroom-tested resources that save time, reduce stress, and give teachers more opportunities to focus on what matters most: making a difference in students’ lives. When I’m not teaching or designing new resources, you’ll find me creating family recipes, sharing affordable lifestyle finds, or encouraging fellow educators through social media and my growing teacher community.
