I spent 12 years in the classroom teaching 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade, and I was lucky enough to work side‑by‑side with an incredible special education teacher in a collaborative classroom. These days, I’m an online tutor, still pouring my heart into helping kids grow with confidence. I’m also a recent empty nester — mom to two, step‑mom to two, which makes four amazing kids who’ve grown into their own beautiful lives. And at home, I’ve got my five‑year‑old German Shepherd keeping me on my toes and acting like the world’s most loyal shadow. When I’m not designing or tutoring, you’ll usually find me traveling with my husband, crafting something cute, or spending time with family. Desks & Doodles is my cozy little corner where I get to blend my teacher heart with my love for all things colorful, creative, and joyful.
