Hi, I’m Regina! I’m a recently retired teacher with 28 years of experience in Special Education and secondary English. Early in my career, I saw the frustration many high school students felt when they were expected to master grade-level objectives using materials written above their reading level. That challenge inspired me to begin creating my own learning resources to make rigorous content more accessible and engaging.
Throughout my career, I also taught General Education English I–V, AP English Composition and Literature, and Academically Gifted (AG) classes. These experiences allowed me to refine and retrofit materials that could support both advanced learners and students in inclusion classrooms.
During COVID, I even brought my teaching home—teaching kindergarten virtually to my granddaughter and creating a preschool curriculum for my youngest grandchildren. I also served for several years as my school’s on-site Beginning Teacher support person, mentoring new educators with classroom management strategies, encouragement, and practical systems to help them transition smoothly into the profession.
Teachers are helpers at heart, and even in retirement, that calling hasn’t changed. My TeacherStore.io shop is simply my next chapter in teaching and sharing.
