Hi! I’m the creator of Epic Kidz, a current preschool paraeducator and Registered Behavior Technician, and a former homeschool mom. Epic Kidz was born from my own homeschool journey, where my children and I spent our days learning through play, creativity, and hands-on exploration. All templates are tested by my son. The images that you see are not professional, but all done by him. We want to keep it real and by doing that we ensure that the products we are listing are of a quality we stand behind. 100 percent kid tested! As I searched for engaging, age-appropriate resources, I found myself creating my own interactive worksheets and activities—tools that truly met my children where they were developmentally. What started at our kitchen table has now grown into a passion for supporting early learners everywhere. Today, working closely with preschoolers, I see firsthand the unique needs of this age group and the importance of making learning both meaningful and fun. Through Epic Kidz, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned with parents, caregivers, teachers, and homeschool families. Hi, I’m Nicole — a mom of three amazing boys, happily married, and deeply passionate about education in all its forms.
My love for teaching began in the classroom, where I started out in first grade. When my own children were young, I made the decision to homeschool them, and it became one of the most meaningful chapters of our lives. Together, we took learning beyond textbooks and into the real world — traveling, exploring, creating, and turning everyday moments into educational experiences. Homeschooling strengthened our bond and showed me that learning can happen anywhere.
This year, my boys were ready to spread their wings and return to public school, and I felt called to return to the classroom as well. I now work as a para educator and a Registered Behavior Technician in a preschool classroom. I truly love working with all ages — from preschoolers just beginning their learning journey to middle school and junior high students who are expanding their knowledge and independence.
I also have a deep passion for special education, which has been some of the most rewarding work I’ve ever done. Supporting children in their growth, confidence, and abilities is something I hold very close to my heart.
My website Epic Kidz World is dedicated to sharing crafts, science activities, and hands-on learning ideas for all ages. I love writing and sharing my experiences, and I believe strongly in doing all I can to help fellow mothers and educators. Everything I create is something my own children have done and enjoyed. I take all of my own photos — most of them featuring my own kids — because I believe in being real and authentic.
