Welcome to modified by denise. I create leveled, scaffolded, and low prep resources that help students who struggle academically, behaviorally, or emotionally feel successful in the classroom. After more than twenty seven years of teaching, I know how frustrating it is to spend hours rewriting curriculum or reworking products you bought with your own money just to reach every learner in your room.

I have taught in special day classes from third grade through high school and I am currently teaching a fifth through eighth grade group. Every year I support students who read at very different levels, including emergent readers and students who are working several years below their assigned grade level, as well as students who can access grade level material. I wanted all of my students to learn the same concept while working at the level that matched their needs, and that is exactly why I create these resources.
