The Lesson Crafter

Hi! I’m passionate about learning and supporting teachers as they navigate curriculum, differentiated instruction, and student engagement. I have taught in rural schools, big cities, and everything in between. I have taught social studies and ELA at the secondary level and taught Advanced Placement English and Advanced Placement US History. I coach teachers and support districts in their literacy journeys K-12. I am a life-long learner who finds joy in helping my colleagues and furthering the teaching profession. I use my knowledge of current research, learning theories, and learning strategies to create resources that are easy to implement, provide inspiration, engage students, and help to make learning stick. I am married to a wonderfully supportive husband, and I have a son and a daughter who are both in college.
