This resource is designed to introduce students to various buildings in the community and their purposes. This product features simplified text and CVI adapted pictures. Buildings in this resource include fire station, police station, hospital, school. library, post office, and city hall. Simplified text provides clear and concise explanations and the CVI adapted pictures are the perfect way to engage students with cortical visual impairments. This is perfect to use on its own or paired with a lesson on community helpers. This product includes the descriptions of community buildings, comprehension questions with a choice of two picture answers and yes/no questions.
