Thank you for ordering from SpeechSpark! This resource is designed to help students learn about the different places in school and the purposes for each room. This is a great vocabulary activity, especially for students who are increasing their vocabulary using AAC. After discussing each location with your students, you can visit each spot. It would also be a great opportunity to take pictures of each person associated with the location for students’ AAC devices. Locations include: library, gym, cafeteria, classroom, music room, art room, bathroom, nurse’s office, principal’s office, and science lab. The slidshow includes a picture and a description of each location, then comprehension questions with two picture choices. The font is CVI friendly and all slides have a black background with minimal visual clutter.
