🤖 How Smart Is That Bot?! Activity Pack
Introduce your students to AI decision-making in a fun, tech-free way. This unplugged activity pack gives Grades 5–7 a clear, accessible look at how bots learn, how data shapes decisions, and where bias can appear in AI systems. Each printable activity reinforces key ideas found in Code.org’s “How AI Makes Decisions” unit while staying flexible enough for any classroom.
Students explore AI concepts through vocabulary practice, a true/false trivia game, and a guided journal reflection. Everything is screen-free, beginner friendly, and ready to use for warm-ups, sub plans, small-group work, STEM Fridays, or enrichment days.
Activity Time
~10–15 minutes per activity
Flexible for early finishers, pacing breaks, or quick mini-lessons
