Upper and Lower Case Match Letter Recognition Puzzles

These alphabet picture puzzles are such a fun way to practice matching upper case and lower case letters. Perfect for your kindergarten learners!

Your students will:

• Recognize and name upper and lowercase letters
• Match upper case to lower case letters
• Build fine motors skills with cutting, gluing, manipulating, and coloring

To complete each puzzle, students match the upper case letter on each piece with the corresponding lower-case letter on the board. If matched and placed correctly, the pieces will form a cute picture.

There are 8 letter puzzles in two versions:

• cut-and-paste worksheets
• full color centers

The worksheets are great for independent practice. Students will cut out the pieces themselves which develops scissor skills and hand-eye coordination. They glue the pieces into the correct spaces on the board. When finished, they can color the picture they made.

The centers have the same puzzles in color. Cut out and laminate the pieces so they can be used over and over.

Answer keys are included.

These alphabet puzzles will also work just as well in the homeschool setting. They are a really fun, hands-on way to build letter recognition and early literacy skills.
