Ava Has Autism creates autism-friendly social stories, SEL picture books, communication supports, and life skills resources for children who learn differently. Created by a mom and special education educator, each resource is designed to build confidence, emotional regulation, and independence at home and in the classroom.
Ava Has Autism was built from lived experience, professional training, and a deep belief that every child deserves to be understood.
When my daughter Ava needed tools that truly supported her communication, emotional growth, and daily independence, I began creating structured visual supports, social stories, and communication systems that worked in our real life — not just on paper.
As a former special education educator and autism mom, I design resources that are clear, step-by-step, and emotionally supportive for children with autism and diverse learning needs. Every tool is created with both the child and the adult in mind — helping children communicate, build confidence, and gain independence, while giving parents and teachers practical, easy-to-use support.
Today, Ava Has Autism has grown into more than just a store. It is a complete support system for families and educators, including:
