Hi, I’m Katie Wiseman, a special educator with more than 25 years of experience supporting students with disabilities, families, and school teams. My work is built around a simple but powerful idea: behavior is often the last domino.
Before we respond to behavior, we have to look at regulation, safety, connection, predictability, and the environment. When adults understand what may be underneath the behavior, they can design calmer spaces, reduce overwhelm, and restore access to learning, communication, and belonging.
