🎅 Merry Digital Citizenship Bundle (Grades 1–2)

Celebrate the season while building lifelong digital citizens. This Merry Digital Citizenship Bundle includes four festive, print-and-go activities that help young learners practice online safety, digital kindness, healthy screen habits, and responsible choices. Each activity is thoughtfully designed for Grades 1 and 2, with simple directions, engaging visuals, and opportunities for creative expression.

Use this bundle during winter lessons, computer lab rotations, classroom SEL time, or Digital Citizenship Week. The activities support early ISTE digital citizenship ideas while remaining fully accessible for primary learners.

Activity Time

~10–15 minutes per activity
Flexible for whole-group lessons, centers, or early finisher tasks

Students Will Practice:

-Making safe and kind online choices
-Asking trusted adults for help when something feels wrong
-Recognizing that online actions leave digital “tracks”
-Practicing healthy screen-time balance
-Expressing ideas visually and through simple writing
-Thinking about online behavior with age-appropriate scenarios

What’s Included:

1. Snow Globe of Safety

Students draw or color their “safe online world,” showing how they stay protected online and who they can ask for help.
(Focus: Online safety, asking trusted adults)

2. Kindness Cookies

Students write or draw acts of digital kindness inside holiday cookie shapes, then color their creations.
(Focus: Online kindness and empathy)

3. Reindeer Tracks Online

A maze activity where students follow “good choices” to help the reindeer reach the Christmas tree while avoiding unsafe online actions.
(Focus: Digital footprints and safe choices)

4. Santa Says… (Movement Game)

A no-prep guided movement activity where students practice taking healthy screen-time breaks.
(Focus: Digital balance and wellness)

All activities are provided as printable black-and-white worksheets for easy coloring and classroom use.
