Each worksheet has a mix of all four operations this helps understand which operations students need more practice with. Data collection sheets labeled with which operation is being used on each problem for quick grading.
These assessments are also great to use for IEP goal writing or intervention progress monitoring on one-step word problems with all operations. Use these as benchmarks to gather data for students on Individualized Education Programs(IEP) Evaluation Team Reports (ETR) or in intervention groups (RTI).
With 40 assessments you will be able to give multiple assessments throughout the IEP year to measure progress.
Do you have older students working on lower grade skills? Age appropriate problem examples and no clipart. The grade level is not clearly marked on the page, so students don’t feel self conscious about their individual levels.
Special care was also taken in writing these word problems to use a diverse set of names and topics. Care was taken to not have easily guessed patterns; for example, addition problems always having more or total and subtraction problems always having the higher number first. Uncluttered with easy to read fonts.
Data Collection Sheets: Quick and Easy data collection with two different sheets. One page is a grid page with operations labeled to quickly get a view on the operations your students are continuing to struggle with. A graph sheet is also included, create a color-coded bar graph to quickly see progress. These are great to bring to intervention meetings.
Here’s what you’ll get in the one-step word problem all operations worksheets:
