These year-long reading comprehension passages are great for progress monitoring of students covering several comprehension skills. Types of reading comprehension questions included are main idea, inferential, context clues, recall, text evidence, and setting.

In these reading comprehension worksheets, students read a passage and answer 8 comprehension questions. Each month includes 3 nonfiction and 2 fiction passages.

Each Passage is written in 2 levels:

The approximate grade level is provided for each passage. The lower levels are from 3-5th grade and the higher levels are from 5-6th grade. These are great for differentiating among your intervention students.

Versatile: Texts come as numbered or unnumbered with fluency data collection chart at the bottom. After using these passages for comprehension use them again for fluency and repeated readings. Provide students the unnumbered sheet while you record data on the teacher collection sheet.
