🤖 Forbidden Words: Robotics Edition

Make robotics vocabulary review fast-paced, social, and unforgettable with this classroom-friendly Forbidden Words game. Students describe robotics terms without using the “forbidden” clues.

The game includes differentiated card levels, editable templates, and student-created card options. Whether you use it for warm-ups, test prep, STEM club, or a full-class competition, this game adds energy and teamwork to robotics and STEM vocabulary practice.

According to the teacher instruction pages on 3–4, the set also includes optional classroom variations like speed rounds, charades-style clues, and the Watcher role to ensure rule-following during each turn.

How It Works:

1. One student draws a card and must describe the target word at the top.
2. The student may not use the 3 or 5 forbidden words listed underneath.
3. Teammates try to guess the correct term within a time limit.
4. For added challenge: Use the blank templates for students to create their own cards before play.
